dream come true !! wow...

Hows the grading and the drainage around your property ??
is there farm land across the street ??
Is that a sump pump that I see in the basement rough in ??

The grade is very gentle, and drainage is very good. We have never had water laying around.
Yes, across the road from us is farm land, which is seeded every year.

There is a sump pump in the basement, which is code for Sask. I don't think we will ever need it, because we overlook the lake. If we were to flood the surrounding area would be under 100 feet of water. We are high and dry :lol:

Most people around here have their sump pumps sitting on a shelf :lol:

Thanks StoP, we are both very excited and can't wait to see our house sitting on the foundation in 2 weeks, and all trades done their work so we can move in.

did you have civil engineer draw up a grading.. drainage plan??
did you have to deal with any conservation permits??

No we didn't have to deal with any of that. Our lot is pretty flat, so there is no need for a drainage plan, or grading plan. ;)
